Say hello to the South Island’s newest tyre shop and wheel alignment facility, taking pride of place at Dayman’s in Nelson.
The project was a decision four years in the making for Service Manager Gerhard, and it wasn’t until Stocks’ Territory Manager Brendon Baddiley stopped in to have a chat with him when the benefits of a tyre and wheel alignment programme became apparent.
After clarifying the types of vehicles and volumes Dayman’s generally deals with on a daily basis, as well as pain points like having to send customer vehicles elsewhere for alignments, it was decided that the best tools for the job were a Hunter Engineering Company HawkEye Elite wheel aligner, TCX57 tyre changer, and SmartWeight Elite wheel balancer.
From there, a simple run through our ROI calculator showed how quickly the equipment could be paid off before the order was placed and delivered.
Installation was handled by both Brendon and a member of the Auckland Stocks team, followed by a demonstration and practical training for the staff at Dayman’s.
