This was the case for Auckland-based black out specialist Autocolour Matrix, owned and operated by Jason, who came to us with the goal of cutting the unnecessary cost of sending his customer’s wheels to a tyre fitter to have their tyres removed and refitted before and after painting respectively.
The aforementioned process cost Jason around $100 per set of four, which soon became $800 to $1000 when multiplied by the eight to ten sets he was churning through every week.
With the assistance of Stocks Territory Manager Brendon McDonald, we were able to eliminate these ongoing costs with the installation of a Hunter TCX57 tyre changer and a SmartWeight Hybrid wheel balancer.
Better yet, Jason was also able to sell his van as he no longer needed to transport wheels to the tyre fitter.
